Any applicants out there for COM Fall 2012?

I had to do a declaratory order, first TBON sent me a fingerprint card, then i sent that and all the records into them, it took about 6 weeks to get my letter after that, but all depends on the complexity of the case and how many other people are petitioning them at the time. my case was a very simple one & i did my declaratory order a year ago, i have no idea if they have a lot to go through right now though !

I sent in the certified court papers of dismissal, my explanation letter, the 39 dollars of course and the application its self. Its a very simple case and 2 very short court papers (because it was dismissed thats all it says I had a friend send in a petition of a DWI she was charged with and it had a police report that was a total of like 50 pgs) I was told to go get my fingerprints done in 10 business days. Also, I know they send an email stating clearance or now before they send the actual letter maybe that will help. i just dont understand why I cant start the program because I only need this letter to take the NCLEX and thats still 2 years away!

Yeah it sounds like it is just the waiting game now, i recieved my letter after about 6 weeks. i never got an e mail so maybe it is quicker now! i know for simple things you should just need the clearance for the NCLEX. it is just so the hospitals will let you in, but i know i worked at UTMB, so obviously hospitals will let me in you know!!!

Yeah i was wondering if anyone had called to see when exactly letters are going out. all i know is it is within a week or 2 of the deadline, but with only 92 applicants i have a feeling it will be sooner rather than later!!

Good news! If I get accepted I can start the program! WHEW! Now I with all of you playing the waiting game! I am betting we get our letters next week... esp because of the due date being pushed back so far.. it doesnt leave much time to complete the checklist for those accepted. When is san jac sending their letters??

San jacs letters go out july 1st, & yeah i think it will be next week too !! hopefully it will be early next week lol

Yay! That is great news!!! I hope we get letters next week. Last year it only took about 10 days to get them.

10 days isnt bad! it should be less since there are alot less applicants to go through! 73 less apps to be exact!
