Has anyone taken community college classes while enrolled in an LPN program? I start LPN school next month and was thinking to start taking some classes towards my Associates in nursing. My end goal is CNM and I wanna get there as fast as possible. I wanted to start with LPN because I have two littles and know a lot of the bridge programs are online.

Slow your roll! LPN school is fast-paced and you have clinicals. This would interfere with taking additional courses. And LPN-to-RN bridge programs *might* be partially online, but there are hundreds of hours of clinicals to consider. Concentrate on doing well at your current level, then add as you are able. Washing out now because you bit off too much will not help you get where you want to go. Good luck!

If you do decide to do this, don't speak about it at your LPN program. You don't want to be targeted for someone who "bit off too much and now not making the grade because of it".
