Sarah, have you considered Bethune-Cookman University in Volusia county? It's a BSN program that often takes students that could not get into traditional nursing programs. Besides private college nursing programs, its one of the easiest programs to get into. Don't let this detour you because the staff and clinical sites are top notch.

I have looked into it the cost is the main issue and i saw their requirements to be honest they are asking for more requirements in comparison to valencia (or any other community college). I have looked into a few private schools but the cost is something i cant afford without stacking up loans and again i think they have more requirements than most schools.

Yeah, the cost of private schools is outrageous. There should be something done to regulate the cost of private nursing schools. I personally know people going into 40 K student loan debt just to get a ASN nursing degree. That is not worth it considering the first year salary.
