Nursing Students School Programs

Hello

i just applied to COC RN program for spring 2017 and am seeing if anyone else has also! I have also applied for moorpark and thinking about applying to Glendale as well. Should I be studying for the TEAS? I don't have a high GPA in bio (all Cs...) do I even have a chance of being accepted??

thanks for any replies

Do we need to make an appointment to see financial aid counselor or they can attend to us without appointment?

Is anyone else having trouble making sense of the schedule?

Hi there, I know it took a bit of time to figure out.... so here is my advice:

1. print out the pages

2. find your name on the list to ID your instructor

3. once you ID your instructor, see the schedule for that instructor

4. see the clinical location and day/nite

5. note the class numbers for enrollment so you have it to enter when you enroll two # and the other optional ones

I used markers and made notes on the handouts which helped me.

If you still have questions be specific and I am sure we can all help you here! Have a great day!

Essentially you will have a schedule for

weeks 1-6 skills lab 2 days with 3 days of lecure

weeks 7-16 clinicals 2 days in place of skills lab with two days of lecture

Hi, thank you!.It's a bit confusing but I think I have most of it down. The only thing I don't see are the hours of clinicals. Do you happened to know?

I'm also concerned if it's going to be 8 or 12 hrs í ½í¸¬ And the what time clinicals would be. I would have to prepare my work schedule.

There would be 30 students with corbett for theory and 20 with vo and then 10 students each instructor for clinicals

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the wait time?

My name is on the fourth box on the clinicals schedule. Just curious to know if anyone is on the same list..

I'm sorry, i meant to say what are the hours for clinicals?

Oh, right. I was wondering that too

Hi again, I do not know the hours, however I am anticipating the DAY clinicals to begin at 6 am but not sure, that way you can hear/take report from the RN prior to the shift change. I don't know though. I am planning the clinicals to last at least as long as the skills lab, say 7-2. I do not know though. ??????

It'd be great if it'll be 8 hours. I can work on some days
