Hi, I just wanted to start this topic to see if anyone else has applied to the COC Nursing Program for Fall 2018? I would like to meet people and chat about the process.
Did you read that the minimum points to apply will be 70? I don't think I will have that many points at all, kind of sucks. Still haven't heard back about my eval.
I hope that's not the case. But you apply first then take the TEAS. Are you hearing that 70 is what gives you a better chance to get accepted? If that is the case, I need a 90% on the test! :/

No, I just read on the website, and please tell me if i am wrong. This is my first time looking into community colleges and that chancellor formula stuff. And I haven't attended a meeting or spoke with a counselor. I hope I am incorrect too, because I will be in the same boat with having to score a 90 lol.
Go to this link and look under "scholastic eligibility" it states,
"Students must have a minimum required score of 70 to be eligible for admission."
I'm not sure how many points others got in with, I would make a lot of flashcards to practice for the teas, they really helped me to remember the material
I just got my score back. I got an 87.3% which puts me at 69 points on the criteria. I am hoping that is good enough for this next semester.

Hello @inezitasm19 or any Lvns that did the bridge program. I am currently waiting to hear back from coc for the lvn-Rn program and see you got accepted to the last one. How is it ? Are you almost done? How are the clinical schedule and lecture? What should I expect if I get accepted? Do you like the program? Thank you for your time ahead of time.
