College of the Canyons (COC) ADN Spring 2023

Hi everyone,

I wanted to start a new thread for the Spring 2023 ADN application period at COC so that we can keep each other update through the selection process. This is my second time applying and I believe they will only be accepting the TEAS 7 this time around. Good luck to everyone that is applying or re-applying.

Just an FYI I attended their info session yesterday and confirmed that they will only be accepting the TEAS 7 moving forward. I am not sure if that is the case for someone that had completed a remediation plan.

OMG what a bummer. This includes this Summer application cycle? Sounds crazy considering that most schools are giving people a grace period since 7 just came out this June. Thanks for the update.

What's your number one choice for RN school?

Right now, it's looking like LACounty. They have an awesome Mon-Thurs schedule and its right down the street from my house. Plus, I'm familiar with a few of their clinical locations so I think that helps. I'd also really love to attend GWC's program as it has some amazing BSN collaboration options. wbu?

Hey guys I also applied for the ADN program for Spring 2023. Do you know if we should send an official TEAS 7 transcript to college of the canyons?

@MelBb Once they evaluate your application you will receive an email from COC asking you to send in over your TEAS 7 first attempt results. Then you should receive an email from them after confirming that they received the results.

Hello everyone! I also have gotten my application in and I read that they are gonna reach back to us by the end of September, would that be for more questions from us? Or would it be acceptance or rejection?
