Cochran school of nursing Fall 2017

Hey guys!

Anyone waiting for their acceptance emails for the fall 2017?

Thank you! What was your Kaplan score, gpa, and did you complete all of your prerequisites before applying? I'd like to know if you don't mind sharing. Again thank you for responding.

Sure my gpa was 3.0 but my kaplan was an 87 to help. I didn't complete all prerequisites and to apply for evening you need them all completed. For day you need A&P 1 and 2 Eng 1 Micro I think. Not too sure. K was only missing Eng 102. The program is rigorous but it is manageable as long as you work. I truly love it and pleased I chose this school.

I applied to Cochran in May I paid for the application and had my transcripts sent in. I applied for evening and I was told I can't have no more than 1 pre req missing. According to the website the deadline to apply was November 1st. On that same day I took my Clep exam and I have to wait 2 weeks to get results. I have a Clep exam on Monday. I'm so upset because all day Wednesday I was calling the school trying to see if I can schedule a Kaplan exam but all of a sudden the mailbox was full and my emails which are usually answered right away has gone unanswered. I really don't want to sit out until Fall 2018

Come to the school. This is a busy time for them im sure with new applications. Id try calling before 10 or stopping by.

Wow! Thank you for all the info. I didn't know I could apply with outstanding prereqs. When I Call to inquire about the program specifically prereqs, they didn't mention I could apply for the day program with missing prereqs. They told me I couldn't apply period if I'm not finished with all of them. That's crazy.

Please don't misunderstand the day program gives that wiggle room. For the night program ALL prerequisites must be completed. So they are correct.

I'm talking about the day program. They fail to make the distinction between the day and evening program. They told me for both day and evening, I needed all prereqs completed beforehand. I know the evening program require all of them be completed but not the day as you mentioned. My point is they didn't tell me that when I ask specifically. í ½í¸ž
