Hey guys!

Anyone waiting for their acceptance emails for the fall 2017?

So I figured out why they want us to purchase Ebooks and not rent. It's because we will be needing an access code to enter a forum, where we will be given to do homework and stuff like that. I rented my books and I was lucky enough to receive 3 of them with access codes. However, renting does not guarantee you an access code. Thats why they want us to the buy the books.

I just received the email for the Ebooks. They're the same from the original list and are very pricey to basically rent them because it seems like they are only good for 12 or 24 months. I emailed her back to see if the ebooks are mandatory and have extra material that we would need because for the cost of 1 you can

rent all of them. Even purchasing them on Amazon brand new will be cheaper.

I have been getting snippy responses as well, but I wish things were a little more organized and clear. I also keep clarifying that I am an evening student but keep getting information pertaining to the day program, I am not sure if its just me. Your right it never says that ebook were MANDATORY. The lady I spoke with said to wait until the 21st and ask at orientation if physical text books are okay. The problem is that all the reading is due by the 22nd.

I know. That's why I purchased the book to start the reading. Their disorganization is not only frustrating but concerning. I'm not sure why instead of sending us 14 different documents they just don't have a welcome packet with all the information. If you're sending out information you should be able to have clear answers. If we need the ebooks because we need access to an online portal or whatever the reason say that not "I don't think"...

She mention a math textbook? I don't see it on the link or on any of the documents. Does anyone know which book it is?

I just got my scrubs and as predicted a bad fit. I think some seams need to be let out.

I was given a 12th edition instead of 13th for med surg. What do you all think!

The content should be the same just the page numbers will be different. Did you get an access code? I don't know how that will work though. Ask this week when you go for registration.

I didn't see a math book either. I guess we'll know this week after registration.

The book thing was a fail. As mentioned above e-books are mandatory. I just spent 2 car payments on books í ½í¸’

Hey guys! Congrats to everyone who started this fall. I'm thinking of applying to Cochran next year for the evening program. Can anyone give me some info about admission into the program? I basically would lie to know Kaplan score, gpa, and outstanding prerequisites?

I recently got rejected from Montefiore. I will be reapplying but I also want to apply to Cochran. Any information or advice you guys can share will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Cochran requires a 3.0 GPA and the Kaplan score varies on how the group overall preforms I think. But 70's I think is safe?

The program is great so far.

Me personally I didn't have the highest gpa but I scored well on the kaplan.
