I was told that CNMs are accepted under EU regulations. Is this true? Does CNM in the USA cross over to the EU?
I am 19yrs old and currently doing my pre-reqs to get into nursing school. I am engaged to a Swedish man and hope to one day live in Sweden when my schooling is done. Would my education transfer to the EU?
Thanks for any help or advice!

midwifery is an established professional in th EU , with variations of entry via Nursing or direct entry in differentplaces
there's not a huge amount i can find in English about midwiferyin Sweden perhaps in the OP's otherhalf wouldhave more luck searching in Swedish
Yes, midwifery is a very widespread profession in the EU. In Sweden they go to nursing school then to Midwifery, very similar to our system.
I wanted to know whether my education in the US would transfer to the EU. I keep hearing about nurses going international. How do they do that?
Thanks for your help.

The only way to know is to go through their nursing body once you have completed training. Sometimes will be accepted and sometimes not as a lot depends on transcripts and what training actually covers
I should be able to contact them now before training and see if they accept USA training. Thanks for your help.
They need to see your transcripts before they can say yes or no
I finally found on a Government site for Sweden that if you have been trained outside of the EU, to be able to work as a midwife in Sweden you need to go through a complementary training program and if you pass you are able to practice in Sweden. To be able to take the training you must be a Swedish resident which I will be when I'm am married to my fiance. So it looks like it will work out =D
