Hi all!
Moved from OK to FL. I've been a nursing assistant in both float pool (covering 7 units), as well as progressive cardiac care. In FL, it is required to become certified. I have a position at Baptist waiting for me, all I need is to get my certification. I am desperately trying to find out how to (and where to) challenge the exam. In the past three years, I feel my skillsets are strong enough to do so. No website or link seems to direct me where I need to be.
Thanks all!

Doesn’t appear that you’ll have to challenge the exam. Search on the Florida Board of Nursing website for cna by endorsement and you’ll find the instructions

best of luck
Thanks for your response! I’m unfortunately not certified, as in Oklahoma they allow for in hospital training to qualify.
Ah Then you can register to get fingerprinted to receive authorization to test with prometric

@203bravo I’ll do that, thank you!! I appreciate your responses and link. I’m taking a short class at the end of the month to prepare me to challenge the exam. Can I get finger printed before the class so Prometrics will give me an earlier (challenge) exam?
Thanks again and I’m sorry for all the questions!
Yes you can submit your application now to expedite the process.

Also you don't have to go to a class for it. I used YouTube to learn all my skills. I wish I knew that before I spent 1k for a CNA course. You can challenge in Florida.
