A co worker mentioned hearing something about a traveler..or traveling CNA. One that travels to various parts of the USA for weeks or months at a time.

Has anyone ever done this. I've search the web and found one agency that does this. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this??

I just saw this CNA jobs: Aureus Medical and it appears they take CNA travelers. I worked on two travel assignments as an RN and I enjoyed it. You're usually going somewhere that is short staffed or needs seasonal staffing. I worked winter in NY on a pediatric respiratory unit. In the summer they didn't need as many nurses. It's a good way to see the country and they put you up in a furnished apartment. But one needs to be flexible and open to change and they expect you to catch on quick, orientation is usually short and sweet. Frequently you're the first to get floated. Good luck!
