Cna is NOT nurse. Why do some think that they are nurses? We do need yall but don't think yall know more then a LPN or RN that is a nurse.Yall take a training that's not college.

Not all of us think that we are nurses. Yes, there are some nursing students who work as CNAs so opinions are sometimes exchanged. Plus, we spend more time with residents than most nurses (in LTC setting) and if we think that something is wrong, when you think it's not then think twice.
Not to be rude, but your grammar and spelling are painful (LPN? I'm scared). I smell troll.

This needs to be closed. I, too, smell troll.
However, CNA's are an important part of healthcare. CNA's who have been working for awhile do learn things and pick up on skills, etc.
Yes, many CNA's may call themselves "nurses", but so do MA's.
Why would you even bring this up? Yes, "nurse" is a protected title in many states and many people abuse that title. It's not even worth discussing. It's going to happen.
Just MYOB and move along. Not worth it.

lpngirl? Really?
Moderators please close this, it is an insult to all the professional nursing assistants I know who work so hard for so little.

Just a reminder that per TOS you may not use LPN in your user name if you are not an LPN yet. Your other posts state you are working your way into LPN school. When you are a nurse, I would hope you would be more supportive and appreciative of your support staff. Good luck!
