CNA/STNA for the Experience??

I've heard that a lot of people wish they would have been a CNA during nursing school for the experience... What do you think?! I'm considering it...others (family) are worried about me getting burned out too early... Any other pre nursing students considering it??

I think a lot of schools require CNA certification if you are accepted to the program.. I need to double check if mine does. I know many that do CNA to help increase their chances of getting into certain schools. I think the experience is useful especially once you graduate and hospitals/clinics see you already have health care related experience.
