CNA schools in Jacksonville, Fl

Published

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of any good CNA schools in JAX, FL? right now I am going to FCCJ to get my R.N. so while I am at that, I figured that I should start to work in the field in some kind of capsaity. I have talked to Superior CNA, their tuition is all inclusive (no hidden fees) at $540 for a 3 week class; I will also be looking into Perfect C.N.A. Training Academy. Does anyone know of these places? I would have gone to FCCJ, but these are VERY expencive and the class is 2 months IIRC. I just don't want to pick some school that has a bad rep or something.

I don't know if you have already decided what to do, but I took that weekend program with Perfect CNA and past the exam on the first try. I was the only person testing that day that passed. I am applying to FCCJ and UNF for fall 2010 and figured that I could spend the time in between now and then working as a CNA in an area hospital. I received my license in the mail today and will begin applying for jobs next week. Good luck!

I have many friends that took the weeklong course at Cambridge Institute on Emerson, which is also a state testing location. I did not take a course, but self-studied and challenged the test. Good luck!
