Cna program cost???

I decided to be proactive in checking into Cna programs in my area. I called the local community college that I attend now and the program costs into the thousands, out of pocket. But there's programs in my own city that just cost five hundred for a six week course. The reason I'm brining this up is that do you all think it's a good idea to take a summer class at the cc and then do the Cna class at the same time? I'm only asking because I took a break from school this semester. I'm wanting to know if it's doable. Thanks!!

Thousands for a CNA course seems very expensive! The $500 course sounds about right. I paid around $630 for an eight week course, including textbook and uniform.

I took my CNA course over the summer while taking an evening psych course on campus and both an English course and first year seminar course online - I made As in everything. It is certainly doable as long as you are motivated and have good time management skills! Good luck to you.

Thanks that's the exact class I'm gonna register for the summer. Something like psychology doesn't necessarily require a lot of time outside of class for studying. Yeah the price was 1500 for a nine hour non credit course. Plus it was out of state that I live in. So it's out of the question for me.
