Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some insight from you all about my situation.
I was previously interviewed and nearly hired into a position in a hospital about a month or two ago and I was eventually denied the position. My potential school schedule and their work schedule did not match up and there was some confusion about what shift I was interviewing for.
I was lucky enough to get an interview for another floor, but I'm concerned because the interview is with the same nurse manager. I'm shocked I even got the interview because I thought she would not want to deal with me again. I'm easily recognizable, so I don't think she'll forget that she interviewed me. I know that I should be excited that I got the chance for another interview on a different floor, but I'm still worried that she'll take a look at me and automatically say no. I don't know how the hiring process is done in the hospital setting. Do they send your application from HR to the nurse manager and then the floor manager? Is there any way in which the nurse manager would not know that she is interviewing somebody she had interviewed beforehand?
Also, this interview process includes behavioral interview questions, and I know that one of them will be if I have ever provided poor customer service. I truly don't know how to respond to this. I assume that the nurse manager will want me to come up with a different situation from last time.
Thanks for the help!
