CNA in North Carolina

Published

Hi all. I'm currently a pre nursing student in North Carolina. My school requires me to become a CNA prior to doing our clinicals in upper division. I have a few questions about CNA stuff. I currently am a resident of California and was wondering if I have to be a resident of North Carolina before I can become a CNA here? Also, I have been told a lot of different things about the classes I should or should not take and how to study. A lot of people who are currently CNAs have told me I should just challenge the test and study the skills out of the book and just practice repeatedly. Is this good advice? Do you think I could pass the CNA test without a class and just studying on my own and with the help of my friends who are already CNAs? Thank you so much in advance for your help. All advice is welcomed :)
