A lot of places will hire student nurses as CNAs (at least around here). I woudn't even bother with getting your CNA. You could apply for a CNA job since you have finished all your schooling and are just now waiting to take boards again. You would probably even be prefered over someone with their CNA and no schooling. Worth a try at least until you take your boards again. Good luck!!

Ok here is my story. There is a strong possibility that I have failed my NCLEX exam (well according to the pearson vue trick), but I am wondering if I should go ahead and apply to get my CNA and work while studying to possibly take the NCLEX again? What do you all think? Or would I just be wasting a facilty's time to train me when I could possibly be there for only a few months?
