So while doing home care today for a quad, the other aide I was with began to with the client. Regular cigs, not the OTHER stuff. I was speechless.

In my head I was thinking, ? Unfreakingbelievable. Did that really happen or did I imagine that? :rolleyes: I asked to please not smoke around me because I have allergies but they did not listen. *rolleyes*

Well if you're in the client's home and the resident smokes... there may not be a whole lot you can do I suspect the other aide is assigned there because they do smoke and will do that with the client? If it is really a problem, you might ask to be assigned to a new client.
