Hi everyone, I'm a Nursing Student. I'm currently a PCA and I take care of someone. It's been difficult lately at work because I work with someone difficult. She calls out a lot and doesn't seem to be considerate of my schedule. They are thinking of replacing her.

My schedule for next year is more hectic and I can't always cover if she does this. I've decided to get my CNA license for more experience and the program I'm doing it wants to send me to the local hospital once I'm done. I would have to lessen my time at the other job.

While I work and have good hours, it's been tough financially and I had to make some decisions and decided on going for the CNA. I love working there but it hasn't been good. I understand things get tough sometimes in the medical field but I feel my patience running out and I feel frustrated. I tried to be nice about the situation but I feel things need to change.

Am I making the right decision? ❤

Start taking courses at the CC. One at a time.

Have success in academia. Gain confidence.

Become an ADRN get a job in a hospital and let them pay for your continuing education towards a a BSN if you feel like it.

You don't necessarily the need experience of becoming a CNA. Why spend the money? You sound ready to fly right now.
