Have you started looking into programs? There is a big difference between a CNA and a LVN.

A CNA training is generally around 6-8 weeks, and covers basic nursing tasks, like feeding, transfers, toileting...

LVN is a nurse where the training can be from 9-18 months long and depending on your program may or may not have an entrance test, but most likley would have pre-reqs

It would be important to figure out where you want to go and speak to admissions and speak with someone from the nursing department who could provide you with more information

Hi,

Well there is actually a difference between a LVN and CNA.

CNA program are typically 6 to 8 weeks long, which can do at like a community college. You would be doing basic health care. I suggest you start off with this before doing a LVn to earn more experience.

Once you get more experience, then do a LVN program, which about 1 year. And you can do that a community college.

Now if you wanted to go even farther you can get your RN, which is a 2 year degree or 4 degree depending on the school or program you chose. Typically 4 year may make a little more. But a RN will be able to do more than a LVN. But LVN are much needed in a hospital as RNs are needed.

But experience will help you out so much.

I used to volunteer at a Vet clinic, then became a Vet tech.

After that I took a CNA class in highschool, then I got my job at ER emergency room and have been for about a year. I also did a internship at a hospital. Working at hospital has helped me gained and learn so much right. But start with the CNA program, then the LVN or the RN program

Thank you

Honestly i want to do LVN, but if i don t get a high score in TEAS test i will start by CNA program first..

I still have enough time to prepare for the test of admission, plz give me information about how can i prepare it

I dont know about the TEAS test, but when I was looking at taking the NET there were study guides that you could buy. They covered your basics in grammer and math, mainly the general education requirments

Call the school and ask them what version of the TEAS test they are using, and ask them for the ati website to get the study guide from. There are a lot of post on this subject, do a search and check them out it will help.
