Hospitals will seldom hire anyone without experience unless they have a connection. In fact even with experience it is still difficult (I managed to snag a hospital position after holding positions in memory care and skilled nursing). Maybe the CNA market isnt very lucrative in Vegas as it is in other places. Keep applying, I'm sure at some point nursing homes will come calling because of the high turn over rate
Try applying to a variety of places not just hospitals as other posters have suggested. If you still aren't getting any calls look over your resume and see if that is what is lacking. If you are getting calls but not the job - brush up on your interview skills. I landed a CNA job with in two weeks of finishing my coursework at an ALF, and my only healthcare related experience was about 2 months of volunteering experience. Are you lacking healthcare experience or work experience all together? If the latter it may take you a little longer to be hired. Really think through any work or volunteer experience you may have (even petsitting and babysitting type jobs) and figure out how you can sell that to a manager in terms of how those skills will help you as a CNA.
I do have a job. A completely different field; I'm a Concierge. I'm looking for a part time or per diem job as a CNA. I think i might have to look over my resume and cover letter. I did volunteer a few hours at a hospital but I had to stop because my job switched my days. I don't know if I want to add that. It looks like I abandoned it.

My luck has been horrible looking for a CNA position in the city of Las Vegas. Nobody wants to hire me because I have no experience what so ever. Where can I get experience if I can't even get hired?
