I'm hoping and praying that one of you on here would be so kind as to help me out with the CNA Interview I have to have for my CNA class. I've left it til the last minute thinking I would have a chance to interview one of the local CNA's during my OJThours, but it hasn't worked out that way. PLEASE, someone.....help a girl out!!

Why did you choose to become a CNA? To gain direct care exp. before nursing school.
How long have you worked at your present facility? 3y
What did you want to achieve as a CNA, and have you achieved that goal? To gain direct care exp. and yes I have achieved it.
What has been your greatest reward as a CNA? Getting to know the residents.
What has been your worst experience? Residents passing.
Do you plan to further your education? If so, what field of study have you chose and why? I am a senior in a RN program.
If you had a chance to do it over, would you become a CNA? Yes
If you had a crystal ball, what would you predict as the future of the CNA? There will always be jobs for CNA's so it is a good field to get into, but the pay is not great.
What do you consider to be the most difficult aspect of the job? Being shorthanded and sometime you do not get the chance to do as well of a job as you would like to.
Would you recommend the career field to someone else? Yes

Why did you choose to become a CNA? I had to have it to start Nursing school in Ohio
How long have you worked at your present facility? Not practicing
What did you want to achieve as a CNA, and have you achieved that goal? I pretty much just wanted to get into nursing school, to be honest
What has been your greatest reward as a CNA? I really loved learning. I learned so much when I was practicing.
What has been your worst experience? My first patient. Long story. Gross Story.
Do you plan to further your education? If so, what field of study have you chose and why? Yep. I'll either continue to PA/NP/or MD
If you had a chance to do it over, would you become a CNA? Not if I didn't have to
If you had a crystal ball, what would you predict as the future of the CNA? I'm not sure, it's been so long since I've been in practice. I know they definitely needed more of us when I was working.
What do you consider to be the most difficult aspect of the job? Knowing your place. I always wanted to do more than I was allowed.
Would you recommend the career field to someone else? As a jumping off point? Yes!
