I'm going to go to college for nursing but in the mean time I want to become a cna so I can get experience and earn extra money while helping people. I was wondering if anyone could tell me of a cna training class? I would like something that is condensed so I can start right away due to time and money restraints. Thank You!
I'm so sorry I just saw some replys to a similar ? under nursing assistants. Well if anyone else has any input but sorry.

I also wanted to recommend getting the job first. Most of the LTC facitilites and hospitals in our area (base of the thumb) will pay you to take the training!!! Can't get better than that!!
Good luck!!!!
Thank you. It just seems hard to get a job in this area with no experience. I don't mind spending the money on the course but it seems really hard to find. Of course it would be nice to save money. Do you know of any certain places that will hire with barely no experience? Thanks again.

Beaumont hosptial will train people to work as a nurse assistant if they hire you for the postion.
The red cross offers two week long classes and I was hired into Beaumont after the training as a nurse assistant.
Good luck :)
Thank you. I would love to work at Beaumont. I think so highly of that hospital. I did call the Red Cross and they have a course but not ill June at its 3 weeks all day for 750. The issue is I need a job now and since I'm off work at the moment I thought would be a good time. I don't know if I will be able in June because I wouldn't be able to take time off. Thank you. I'm going to keep looking.
