CNA class

I have a CNA class next semester and I was wondering if I needed any nursing equipment for the class

The director of the CNA program would be able to answer your question the most accurately, so I would ask him or her. You will most likely need some equipment, but the school might include it in the cost of tuition and provide it for you. If not, they might give specific directives on where to purchase the needed equipment. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the info but I don't have to worry for a few yrs but what about the high school CNA classes any equipment for it

Before you buy anything, verify first if you need it. Usually you'll need a BP cuff and a good stethoscope. A basic Littman Select is around $45 online and adequate for a CNA. I had to pay extra for supplies through the school and they were pieces of junk. I ended up buying better equipment on my own. Good luck in your HS class.

Can't really go wrong with a Littman. A Select is around $45. A Master Classic II is around $110. Amazon or AllHeart are two good places online to get deals. Just guard it with your life and get it engraved AND put a name tag on it. They have a tendency to "walk away."

I have been thinking about getting the classic ii which color no clue what stethoscope do you have

I have 2 Littman's (a Select and a Master Classic II). I also have two cheap ones that hurt my ears and are useless. Littmans come in many colors. Try to get one that is different from the normal black and navy. If you have a different color, it is less likely to get stolen or mixed up with someone else's. They come is many colors including light and dark shades. Look online to get an idea of what color would be best for you.
