Heyy, I recently got accepted to the accelerated program that starts this summer and I was wondering if anyone has heard of the program or is currently in it, and if anyone could give their advice! Thanks a lot in advance!

Congrats! I am waiting to hear back re: my Fall ABSN application. The Mount has a pretty solid rep. I'd heard there were some bumps in the road when they started their accelerated program a few years ago but things seem to be settling and have improved. Not as big as the other programs around the city but a good option. Is CMSV your final choice?

I think it will be my final choice! The pricing for the program and the length of the program is appealing. I was accepted for the summer start date but I think I will change it for the fall due to location, coming from Long Island it's more difficult to get to Riverdale as opposed to Manhattan.
I found out yesterday I was admitted for the Fall!

@SarahRNs Kudos to you!!!! I am so happy to hear it. Could I ask you to share anything at all about your experience? Do you feel prepared? Where clinical's were or which campus you attended? There is so little feedback from previous student, it would be such a great help to hear your perspective.
so they r the most disorganized school for starters. Accelerated nursing programs r hard where ever u go but it wasnt especially hard. everyone was friends and helped each other but the teachers sucked. they did not prepare u well for the nclex- they prepared u on how to pass what ever was on the test in nursing school but not for the nclex. but we studied after (i posted videos on it on my youtube channel- youtube.com/sarahrn). and we passed. so in terms of the school/teachers- they r bad. in terms on the workload - it wasnt harder than any other accelerated program. and the class was very supportive. i would go back if i had to bec they r not out to fail everyone like in many different programs -they try to get everyone to pass. Clincals were good- but they really depend on ur ionstructor but overall good- at NYP a lot.

You are heaven sent. Thank you for sharing so quickly. I know a lot of the accelerated programs are all over the place but a lot of us want to know if its worth the money and effort! Its all about your personal drive, study habits and determination that will get you thru. Again, congrats. I am going to check out your youtube channel!

Another Question ? Is Uworld everything we hear it to be? I was considering starting Uworld prep when I start school virtually lol. I hear the more questions you do the better and it sounds like we will be on our own for NCLEX prep. Thanks again!@SarahRN
yes . world is everything u hear to pass the NCLEX- but ur exams at school, may not help as much bec uworld is so much harder. But in terms of NCLEX- for sure
?
