Does anybody have any experience or knowledge about this program. Can you really find a job once you are done with this program? Any input would be great.

probably about the same as any other RN job. If you have the experience and credentials a facility is looking for, then it could lead to something. Check to see what the facilities in the area you are wanting to work for are looking for. To be honest, though, many nursing jobs are not there right now. Are you currently an RN, and if so, how much experience, and in what kind of setting? These are the things to ask yourself. We've recently had an influx of students take accelerated programs to become NPs, never having been an ASN or BSN, having 0 experience, can't understand why no one is lining up to hire them--everyone around here wants 4-5 yrs bedside experience for ANY advanced position, even management/leadership positions. I know in other areas, sometimes they can get hired, and some facilities are less restrictive. I suggest strongly that you do your homework before you spend your money if you're not 100% sure that this is what you want to study, especially if you're worried about having a job at the end. And if you don't have any bedside experience (clinicals don't count as experience), you will most likely have to start at the bedside anyway to get the experience needed. Good luck with your path. If you need any information, we're all glad to help direct you to it.

Thank you for the input. It just basically validated what I already thought. I will graduate in May with my BSN from Curry. I have been a nurse (RN )for 8yrs. I have bedside and managerial experience. Currently I am an ADON at a SNF. I really want to continue my education though! Im thinking of looking into the ANP program at umass Darthmouth.
