Hi everyone,
I will be attending another university to get my Obstetric and Paediatric nursing hours as I was deemed deficient by CGFNS. Does anyone know what the minimum required hours are? I can't find any information and I don't want to have to redo a clinical placement if I get told that I haven't done enough hours. It is for registration in Wisconsin.
Thanks

Hi. May be message the State Board of Nursing (BON) itself or to look into a BSN curriculum in Wisconsin to compare to your previous education.
The issue I had last year was, although I got the CGFNS Visa Screen certification, the State BON was asking my Canadian schools to verify I had theory & clinical hours on medical, surgical, psychiatrics, pediatrics, & obstetrics.

Thanks I might try that. I am getting frustrated, I direct a question to CGFNS about the hours required by the WI BON and then they direct me to the WI BON, who then directs me back to CGFNS ?.
