Clinical documentation RN DMV

Nurses General Nursing

Hello

I am an RN trying to change paths from bedside to a non-clinical position. I have oncology and OR background. I was wondering if anyone can provide me with some tips for the transition. Also, if someone works in the dmv as a CDS how do you like it? Is there a possibility to shadow?

Thanks!

The Department of Motor Vehicles employs nurses? I did not know this. Interesting.

No, I meant DC, Maryland and Virginia area. C:

That's what I thought when I read DMV, too, and my state doesn't even call it a DMV (we say RMV).

I have a former colleague who works in Clinical Documentation Improvement now. That's what she had done before she was my colleague and she quickly went back to it after working at our last company for under a year so I'd say she likes it. It's not in that area of the country, though.

I can't edit the post but DMV= DC Maryland and Virginia. Although, I appreciate any tips from anyone experienced.
