I haven't heard anything yet, but I know they start interviewing around October. All my pre-req's are completed and this will be my 2nd application cycle for CSU; the first time I was rejected around 10/28 due to me not meeting the GPA min. I have never applied to any other nursing schools but may consider looking into an accelerated BSN if CSU doesn't work out.
Overall GPA: 3.27
Pre-req GPA: 2.89
KNAT Score: 81
Hi, this is my second time around as well. Last time I made it to the interview but then was told I was placed on the waiting list. At the time i had a 3.4 GPA and made 62 overall i believe on KNAT.
I now have all prerequisite done with 3.7 GPA but my KNAT score wasnt that well again ( 64 overall, i dont know what i keep doing wrong ) so i’m praying everything works out , like i’ll be so depressed otherwise. Also, thanks for making this chat , ive been checking to see if there is a 2020 one lol.

Thanks for sharing! I knew someone who applied 3 or 4 times to CSU's nursing program before actually getting in. I recently met a few PA students who are starting PA school this fall that did not get in on their first try. It took some of them 2-3 application cycles to finally get in, despite them having high GPAs. I also know someone who scored well on the MCAT with good grades, but did not get into med school. Sometimes it just depends on your luck whether you get a seat or not because the seats are so limited compared to the pool size of applicants they receive. So hang in there and think positive! ?
They have started interviews and I was invited for one via phone call (in other words, make sure you pick up your phone!!!). Notifications are sent via mail, whether it be an acceptance or rejection letter. Rejection letters go out sooner at the end of October and I believe acceptance letters go out mid-November. Good luck!!
@Thrive123I have also read that they don't re-interview and that they base it off the last interview. I think I'll call next week and ask about when rejection/acceptance letters are sent out. I'm a planner so I don't like the suspense; I rather expect it coming, lol.
@bluestar28 I put all my eggs in one basket with CSU and didn’t apply to any others. If all else fails, I’ll go to the community college in my hometown. This is my first semester here. Also, I was told after my interview that I should hear something in about 2 weeks!!

I was trying to find a Spring 2020 forum for CSU but did not see one so I'm starting one to see if anyone would like to share any updates on their admissions status or insight on their stats (GPA overall/science, KNAT score, etc.), other schools you've applied to, and/or any advice in general. This is my 2nd time applying to their program as I didn't meet their min. GPA requirement the last time. Thanks in advance! ?
