I've been waitlisted and was wondering if anyone else has been waitlisted?

Hey christiangirl316, I also applied for Fall 2014. Did you apply for the BSN program? I did, and also got put on a waitlist. I was really upset about it! I tried to call and find out what my position on the list is, but they could not give out that information. I have a friend I work with who was also placed on the waiting list and she told me that only 40 students were accepted. She said that there are about 20 students that are in their first semester of the nursing program now who are on the verge of failing a class. Once grades are posted at the end of the semester and how ever many of those 20 students pass, those spots will open up to the people on the waiting list. (This is what I was told, so I cannot be for certain, but I remain hopeful). But if they fail, they automatically get a 2nd chance to start over so those spots will not open up. So pray that everyone passes so we can get in!! Also, some of the people who got accepted still have to reserve their seat, and they may have applied to multiple schools and may choose to go somewhere else. So we still have a good chance of getting in for the Fall! Just stay positive and pray everyone passes!!

We've got this!! If anything, we will just apply again for the spring (its only 5 months later). Keep me posted if you hear anything and I will do the same! :)

Clayton only accepts 40 students?!? Wow ?. I assumed they accepted way more than that.

@Nurse2B2016 They are supposed to accept 60, but at Clayton if you fail a class your first semester in the nursing program, you automatically get a 2nd try at it the next semester. So there are about 20 students on the verge of passing/failing, and if they fail, they will get to keep their spot for the Fall. If they pass, then those spots will open up for us on the waiting list! (At least that's what I've been told!)

AHHHHH ok that makes perfect sense. I still thought they accepted tons more than that for some reason. Well good luck! Hopefully those students pass!

Hi guys! I'm new to the site! I applied to Clayton's nursing program and was wait-listed as well. I was so disappointed and let down but there's still hope! I was also told that we would be ranked once spring grades were in. Has anybody heard anything else?
