Just thought I would get a forum started as we await the decision. Everyone feel free to post your overall GPA, math and Science GPA, and TEAS scores. Also why you want to be a nurse and what specialty you would like to work in?

I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife.
thanks for the info. You, mrs. lewis and lisamac have done a really good job in this forum. If I am lucky enough to be accepted, i would love to have intense study partners like you guys....regardless of the outcome, good luck with your future...
I hope I am one of those guys! yes, I am a guy too...lol...My TEAS score was a respectable 86.7, but my overall gpa is only 2.95. I graduated from UGA with a BBA....(let's say I long time ago) My graduating gpa was 2.92. Although I have made 5 A's since coming back to school, my gpa has only move by .3 of a point. I think my science and math gpa is around 3.5....
My overall gpa is a 3.1 math/science is 3.5 and teas 75...My interview went well and a lot of my friends are telling me that guys have a big chance to get it because they need to have a diverse class of students...We'll see!
Gosh, another day to wait. Well at least we know they are out. I wonder if they put some out a day before and others another day. I hope this means we are not the ones who are on the waiting list.

Any kind of help helps..lol...however, I think our credentials are respectable enough to stand on their own. If we get in, I think we would have gotten in on our merits.....I'm sure I'll hear from you tomorrow..good luck
@canigetaname. I have enjoyed this message board. It is nice to know others are going through the same anxious time. It kind of helped out talking about it.
I haven't heard anything yet. I'm so glad that letters are out though...I bumped my workout up to a four mile walk while waiting to hear something (stress...LOL) I will be waiting at the mailbox at 1:15 tomorrow. Hope the mailman won't be late!
I am just wondering around my house thinking about this!! I should have walked with you, we could have been to NY and back with all this stress going through our blood. ha ha ha... Darn and my daughter has to work tomorrow, I will have to wait until I get home to find out anything....
