Has anyone applied to Clarkson's CRNA program for 2022 start date? Curious how it is going? Any thoughts on the application process? Anything else worth sharing would be great!!

Thank you ?

I don’t know how else to bolster myself. Have 3 years ICU experience. Passed my CCRN first try. 310 on my GRE and I have a 3.8 GPA. I must not be representable in the interview.

Did you get an interview?

I’m gonna be honest I felt the same way. I have similar stats as you, heavily involved in work and local committees, two certs. The interviewers seemed distracted and I only got asked about 3-4 questions, was difficult for me to get a word in or answer a question as thoroughly as I wanted. I’m happy for everyone who got in, for some reason I’ll (never) know it just wasn’t my year.

Found out via email this afternoon. (And, I assumed after I didn’t get a call last week...)

Has anyone else on this thread been officially denied, or know anyone who has, after interviews?

I just got the email saying I’m on the wait list. @Jackofalltrades22, did they communicate with you at all while you waited to hear if you got a spot? I guess I’m just not sure how it works.

I got waitlisted also.

So last year when I was wait listed I was notified by mail. I didn’t get any communication until closer to the fall when the deadline hit to sign up to take those two pre-requisites. I ended up taking them which was nice since I don’t have to this year. I know last year someone was pulled from waitlist, but have no idea how many they actually pull.

So you had to take those courses to continue on the waitlist since they are prerequisites, correct?

No.. it’s optional. And “doesn’t have any influence on your waitlist status” per ken. I personally just wanted to take them bc I intended applying again and if I were to have come off the waitlist I’d have them done.

Wow, that is really surprising. Tough decision because it is a lot of money.

@queenofhearts25 @MONurse1987 I meant to comment a few days ago but my safari isn’t working… anyways, just a suggestion if you haven’t already - follow Jason Bolt CRNA on Instagram. He gives mock interviews. Looks like y’all have all the right stats, way better than mine, and I got on the waitlist. I’ve been told no before and it really hurt and put me in a bad place mentally, and I lost motivation. Don’t give up. You guys have excellent stats. You’ll get in, it just takes ONE yes!
