Clarkson CRNA Program Spring 2022 start date

Finished my application in the fall, submitted all of my transcripts and other application materials a few weeks ago. Transcripts took quite a while to get checked off (I'm sure in light of the holidays) but everything else is very straightforward.

Thanks for the reply! I agree pretty straightforward. I received an email from --------------------- today saying that they will review all applicants together and notify in April for interviews. Now it's a waiting game. It can't get here soon enough ?

I applied. Deadline coming up quick, Feb 1, so excited to see if I'm offered an interview.

So glad to hear from you!! I'm excited as well to hear from them!! I wonder if it will really be April before we hear anything about interviews. Seems like such a long time to wait but I am sure they are all busy.

I am hoping we hear from others that have applied or are going to apply!! I would love to keep in touch during this process and support each other!

April seems sooooo far away ??? maybe they will notify us before?! So excited to hear something!! Do you live in Nebraska or would you have to move? I'll be cheering for you everyone else who has applied ????

I’m really hoping they let us know before, too long to wait! I live in Utah, and we only have 1 program here that isn’t too good so I’m applying all over the US haha, but my top choices are in Nebraska! How about you? I will be cheering you on too!! We got this! 

I live in Wyoming! I am applying to 3 others but I really like Clarksons program and the things I have read. I have also read about the new additions to the simulation lab over the last several years and it's exciting!!

Same here!! I’m still planning on applying to lots of places but really hoping for Clarkson or Bryan College. Nebraska has a lot to offer to crnas as far as the clinical side of things goes!

Nah, someone I know who is also applying said they heard the same thing. I'm not really gonna expect anything til April 1, though by the the end of March I'll start to get antsy LOL. I'm guessing it depends a lot on how many people apply.

My friend got in last year and she got an interview invite the last week of February, IIRC. Her original interview was scheduled the second week of March. At the time, though, that is what they told them to expect.  Presumably, they bit off more than they can chew with that timeline and gave themselves an extra couple months this time! 

Thanks for the information queenofhearts25.  I have been looking at possible interview questions. I have heard from friends in other programs say their interview was more personal but others focused on megacode drugs and such.

From what I have read it seems like Clarkson only does a personal interview/get to know you ? but I am preparing for the possibility of a mixture of topics.

Did your friend say anything about the interview or how to prepare? No worries if you don't want to share. I figure I will study so I'm prepared for an interview no matter what program it is for ?
