Hello! I'm a pre-nursing student hoping to start in the UTHealth Cizik Pacesetter program for Fall 2025. I got an email a few days ago saying "Thank you for your intrest in attending. Please allow up to five business days for your application to be processed." Did anyone else recently get this? If so, Is this a good sign? It still says my application is under review.

It means they just now recieving your application because I got that email days after I submitted on nursingcas

Thank you! I checked my email, but it was also reflected on the ApplyUTH portal. I submitted my application on 03/13/2025, so I cut it REALLY close to the deadline. I was honestly so stressed that my transcripts weren't going to get processed in time.

I did on the same date too the only thing was that I still had to send my scores on the to-do list so I don't kno if that played a factor

mine still on application under review is that status before receiving a letter or theres another status that you get after?

Mine said "Application Under Review" up until today. At this point it's really just a waiting game. From what it seems, maybe they're not sending out acceptance letters in batches. It's looking to be like a waitlist system, so seats are opening up one-by-one as people decline their offers.

Just called the student affairs office, and they said that they've already been sending acceptances out in batches. I asked when the next batch should be arriving, and she said to wait until tomorrow or Thursday. I need to accept or decline UTMB by Friday, so I'm hoping I get it soon bc Cizik is my first choice.🥲

Does your application also say "application under review"?
