Hello! I'm a pre-nursing student hoping to start in the UTHealth Cizik Pacesetter program for Fall 2025. I'm starting this thread to connect with other pre-nursing students aiming for the program, as well as current students who might be able to answer our questions. I am also applying. My stats are:

3.95 Pre-Req GPA

4.0 Science GPA

85.3 for TEAS

I heard now you don't need to send transcripts to the school anymore, but just send it to NursingCas? Is that right?

Hello,

I'm pretty sure they require transcripts too—it says so on their website, but you can call them if you're not sure about it.

I submitted my application to UTH Cizik School of Nursing for the fall semester, and here are my stats:

Prerequisites GPA: 3.65

Cumulative GPA: 3.52

TEAS Score: 86.7%

Reading: 74.4%

Math: 94.1%

Science: 97.7%

ELS: 78.8%

My stats are on the lower end of the competitive range. What do y'all think? Do I have a good chance of getting accepted?

I don't have any healthcare experience, but I'm a first-generation student and the first in my family to attend college.

Hello! Does anyone know when we start clinicals? I know we start during the first semester, but do we start immediately, 6 weeks after the first day, etc.?

Have you submitted your application through NCAS yet? How was the process? Did anyone pay for the Transcript entry through NCAS for $80? Some of my classes are still in progress so I'm not sure how to go about it.

They do not require a personal statement. Just test scores and GPA
