Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston Fall 2024 Pacesetter BSN

Published

Hi guys! I've noticed that there hasn't been a forum created for fall 2024 so I wanted to go ahead and start one!

Hopefully the rest of us know by this coming week for a 2nd wave notice🤞, keep us updated!

Wait, so there's only been one wave so far?

I'm in the same situation! I qualify but I need 4 more classes. Their website says everyone is considered equally as long as u have the qualifying number of credits, so I'm not too worried

OK thanks

By the look of the comments and they didn't announce the accepted or rejected after the extended May 15th deadline yet

Okay! I'm sure that if you physically give your final transcript to the office when you're done with the 5 classes will ensure that they will receive it in time before the semester starts 🙂

OK thanks! Keeping my fingers crossed

I wonder when they are going to announce the next wave? From the stats posted on this forum, the first wave seem to be students with 4.0 GPA or near 4.0 GPA

When I spoke to someone on Thursday they said they were a bit behind due to it being EOY for a lot of things. So hopefully within the next two weeks!

EOY meaning end of year?

Yes.

Hi, I was wondering how did you guys get your numbers for your GPA? I mean did you guys calculated yourself or asked the school for their calculated numbers? I think for some schools, their GPA is different than our calculations but I am wondering if this is the case with UT Health. Thanks

It depends. How many colleges have you attended? The GPA is on the bottom or the transcript, at the end. Or if you're like me and did multiple, I did a GPA calculator for the prerequisites only to find it. Because all the credits for my other degree don't apply, so I just used the ones that do.

Yeah, I also attended multiple colleges and did my own calculations but I was wondering if we can get the exact GPA from UT health.
