Hi guys! I've noticed that there hasn't been a forum created for fall 2024 so I wanted to go ahead and start one!

Yes exactly, don't know why they send it in waves 🙄 it's wasting our time and it's not like releasing it later will change anything

Same I'm super nervous too! 😭 I really hope they release something tomorrow or Friday, they did say they'd be reviewing applications the third week of May.

I went to their info session today and they gave a lot of helpful info about grades and stuff. Apparently, their average accepted GPA is 3.5, and they only use prereqs to calculate your GPA, and they don't consider +/-'s. Just putting it out there if that's helpful to anyone!

Ohh I didn't know they don't consider +’s/-‘s! Did they say anything else about what they look for?

Yeah (As in, a B- or B+ would basically be a B), just to make it clear haha. They didn't say anything else about what they look for but they said that it isn't a lottery system.

They also said that they use all attempts of a course to calculate GPA. IDK if that's accurate though because their website says in most cases they use your highest grade. And they said that prereqs don't expire either.

That's good to hear! So if we get an A-, they count it as an A? Do they not look at cumulative GPA?

Yeah! It should be an A based on what they said. During the session, someone asked if they look at cumulative GPA (AKA all the classes you've ever taken including prereqs) and they said it doesn't hold any weight bc they only care about prereq GPA/prereq science GPA! But again their website has some conflicting info because it says "science GPA will be calculated using ALL SCIENCE courses taken", which is kind of confusing 🥲 I'm hoping the info session is more accurate than the website.

And no problem! I'll let y'all know if I find out anything else!

95.3 but my GPA isn't strong tho..
