Hello, I have the 8Ed Potter and Perry Text book for sale if anyone interested.

hey guys, so at the orientation they mentioned purchasing Essentials of Nursing 8th edition by potter to start reading ahead of time, the professor wasn't sure if there was an updated version but she said to look for updates on blackboard, obviously no one has updated our blackboards yet, but i did find the 9th edition of that book, so now i am hesitant on which book to get, any ideas ?

Hi all,

I am going to apply to City Tech Nursing AAS for Spring 2019. I have not yet done the TEAS exam but would like some feedback on it's difficulty.

My Grades are:

A in MAT 1190,

A in PSY 1101,

B in ENG 1101 (but I was told I can replace it with my A- from ENG 1121)

B or B+ A&P (in progress)

So overall with a B in A&P i'd have a 3.6 if I get a B+ then I will have a 3.7.

Other students have told me they know of students that have taken the TEAS exam multiple times and have been accepted into the program. Is this necessary or true? I'd like to know about my chances getting in with a B or B+ in A&P (will I automatically get rejected if i don't have an A?), does City Tech actually let you replace one class grade as I've been told and lastly, can you take the TEAS exam more than once?

Any info/tips, really appreciated!

Thanks!!

Guys anyone get their uniforms yet, it seems like its shipping forever.

Bls is fine

Have all my green shots. Had a flu shot from Feb. And they counted it.

For the TEAS its basic math, then grammar, and common sense. The toughest part would be the chem and A&P questions they throw in. But all they waNt for the program is to pass above average (changed with each group that takes the TEAS). Yes they substitute classes and for your overall GPA you should be good, but keep in mind the cut off GPA also changes each semester, our cut off was 3.45
