  1. I wouldn't take my chances having a 3.46 sorry to say. The gpa changes every semester and is dependent on the pool of applicants. If you can take a co-requisite to replace one of your grades and boost your gpa I'd highly recommend it.
  2. According to their flyer, you have until 4/26/19 to take it for the fall semester. http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/nursing/docs/TEASExamDates.pdf
  3. Today they said the cutoff was 3.45 for this semester.
  4. What did you do during clinicals at the hospital for the first semester?
  5. I just applied for spring TEAS 76 Math A Eng A A&P B+ PSY A We'll see! not sure because of my TEAS

I just took the TEAS on friday, I recommend NOT buying the Kaplan TEAS book, many answers were wrong (which I ignored on Amazon reviews but it was true) try mometrix as they have many online resources as well. Allow at least one month for studying if you are unprepared. For reading it's pretty basic, english same. Math you must know algebra, geometry there were a lot of fraction questions, for science you MUST have taken a&p and learned ALL the systems, (1 & 2) and you also need to know basic chemistry. Also, practice your timing, I say take a practice (full-length) exam at least twice.
  7. Hi everyone, I am applying for the City Tech Spring 2019 semester and would like to know what your experience was like during the 1st and 2nd semester as in what the program entails and what to expect. Thank you!
  8. Thank you! I got that B+ so 3.71 gpa and may I know how long you studied for the TEAS or how long you recommend to study for the exam. Thanks!
  9. Hi all, I am going to apply to City Tech Nursing AAS for Spring 2019. I have not yet done the TEAS exam but would like some feedback on it's difficulty. My Grades are: A in MAT 1190, A in PSY 1101, B in ENG 1101 (but I was told I can replace it with my A- from ENG 1121) B or B+ A&P (in progress) So overall with a B in A&P i'd have a 3.6 if I get a B+ then I will have a 3.7. Other students have told me they know of students that have taken the TEAS exam multiple times and have been accepted into the program. Is this necessary or true? I'd like to know about my chances getting in with a B or B+ in A&P (will I automatically get rejected if i don't have an A?), does City Tech actually let you replace one class grade as I've been told and lastly, can you take the TEAS exam more than once? Any info/tips, really appreciated! Thanks!!
