City College of San Francisco Fall 2019

Published

Hey all!

I haven't seen a topic for CCSF so just wanted to start one. Who else applied/applying for Fall 2019?

Good for you guys! How long do they give you to let them know your decision?

We have to accept or decline in 1 week (by 5/3)

I called this morning and they said they just mail out the decision. But some of them received email of acceptance. Does that mean they are mailing out the rejecting letter? Fingers crossed ?

yes I am also waiting , this may be my 7th rejection letter!!

I think I will learn programming instead of all this lottery ,

I just got my letter in the mail...I’m waitlisted ? at least it’s not a full rejection but I’m not going to hold my breath that a bunch of people are going to drop out. I hope you all had better luck!

what number are you on the waitlist?? I wonder how high they went up to the previous years..

Hi john3219, I'm #83. Considering the waitlist starts at #51, I'd need 32 people to drop out. Is that a lot or does the program often call in people that far down the waitlist?

What was your total points after taking the TEAS?

My score wasn’t super high, 55 including the TEAS

Have any of you heard of the concurrent CCSF - SFSU bridge? @john3219, I saw you posted about it -- where did you hear about the bridge? I can't find anything about it online. The person who I spoke with at CCSF says they are running it but when I called SFSU they had no idea what I was talking about. The only info I about the traditional bridge (complete ADN and then do another year's worth of study for BSN.)

I was waitlist number #76 and I missed a call from nursing department on Friday fortunately i have a habbit of checking voicemail. They called me to inform that a spot is available and i had to respond by 9am Monday, which is today. They don’t send email so whoever is on waitlist keep checking your phone and don’t loose hope. All the best!!

Woohoo good for you SA88! That makes me worried because I’m out of country and haven’t checked my voicemail! Did you just have to call the nursing department back to accept??
