I applied to CCSF, and am awaiting the lottery in May. Does anyone know how many students they'll be accepting? This is my second year applying there. I've heard good things about this program, so I'm hoping for better lottery results this year.

I spoke with someone in the Nursing department and she said there are almost 1,000 applicants for 100 spots. However, 80 of those spots will be occupied by persons who are re-applying. Good luck!!

"Enrollment to the Program. Because of facilities and staff limitations, 48 new students may be enrolled in the Nursing Program each spring semester and 80 each fall"

They only accepted 10 new applicants for fall and (I think) 10 for spring 2011.
WOW! You're right, they accepted 10 new applicants and 10 re-applicants. I know they had said they would be accepting fewer applicants this time because of the budget, but I didn't realize they were cutting back that severely. So, they accepted only 20 out of over 1250 people applying.
Did you get in?
I believe they accepted more re-applicants (the majority of the incoming class) but am not sure. I got in for Spring 2011. It is shocking.
