Hey anyone out there applied for CCSF RN program 2023? As of today should be approaching 7 weeks after the deadline and application results are to be sent out 8-10 weeks after. Just wondering if anyone in the same boat?

Hi Maritza,
Thanks for creating this thread. Eagerly waiting here! Looking back on past years it looks like we usually hear the first week of June ?. I'm hoping for a miracle and that we hear earlier despite that weird week delay in being able to submit our applications.
Best of luck to you and everyone here in the same boat!
Did anyone apply anywhere else? I applied to City College of San Francisco also, should hear back in May too

Also, I went into earlier threads and keep in mind that the nursing department was also dealing with Covid restrictions. But IDK we will see. ??

No only here because I'm limited with my family needs and I live in SF. But I'm tempted.

Hi guys, I'm currently at second semester at CCSF and one of my teachers told me yesterday that they selected 150 students, not sure if this is the final list or when they will start sending the acceptance emails. Last year they sent in early Jun and for the ones who get accepted will be busy on Summer doing orientation and paper work for school. I know how it feels the waiting time so I just would to like to give a little update to you. Good Lucky everyone!
Hi silva198
Thank you so much for the information! 150 is a lot and awesome!! Most of the schools I have been looking at it is more like 50.
How is the program? Are you doing the bridge BSN program with SFSU?
Cheers
Sure! Well the CCSF program is not easy, you will have to study a lot and tremendous amount of content for each exam, some students say that 1st and 2nd semester are the hardest hope that is true! In general is a good program. I'm in SFSU and I really like as well, the class is pretty easy but not sure about the next classes. I think everyone who applied to bridge in my class got accepted, sfsu has a class only for CCSF students which they can accept 40 but my class has 30 or 29. Many people prefer to do the online BSN.
Good Lucky!
Also for the ones who get accepted, there is a math exam that you need to pass with 90% and you will have 3 attempts. You will have a math class over the Summer and I advise you pass the first attempt every semester because you will get overwhelmed during the semester, so it is better to get out of the way and you will have to study for this math exam during your vacation time. We had in the first or second week of classes. Wish everyone to get accepted in this group!
