Many of you are looking at the CIR strictly as it relates to nurses coming to the US; but there are other issues that many of you are not aware of, but they will concern you if you come to the US. It will affect you directly.
Some of the issues from the other side:
1. Thirty thousand gang members will be included with this amnesty program.
2. SSN#s will be issued the next day after paperwork submitted.
3. No background checks can be completed in just a day.
4. No back taxes will be required to be paid.
5. Your taxes will pay for their attorneys' bills.
6. No plan in place to make sure that the temporary worker visa holder leaves the US after the two year period.
These are just some of the issues that are included with the current writing of the CIR that we have seen. There are always two sides to each story, and these are things that I am sure that you have not been looking at.
These are some of the major reasons why I am against much of the CIR and do not think that nurses should even be included with it. They deserve their own bill, otherwise you will still be included with everyone else.

I agree with you completely. I think many who are waiting overseas are frustrated with the wait but from what I have read and heard about CIR it is very bad for Nurses and very bad for America.
Glad that you agree with me. There is always two sides to a story, and many are just in a hurry to get to the US that they are not aware of what is actually going on in the US right now.
And when you are in the US, your taxes will be going to pay for the immigtration fees for these 12 million, even though you have paid in one way or another for your fees.
