Do you have a chronic shortage of Dialysis Technitions in your unit? How do you manage? We never ever have a full quota of staff and we are constantly looking for new techs on a regular basis.
Any good idea's how to improve the turnover rate and increase job satisfaction. I have found since bundling came in life in the Renal community has become very hard, and I think it has an ongoing effect on the techs.
At the moment my facility has gone from 4-1 to 5-1 and it is hard work!

The FMC units where I work have a pool of float techs that go to several units. That has helped some days. The ratios are usually 4-5:1 pt/tech and that is accepted.
