Hi Tweety and NJ22

Stars glad that you're feeling better

Dianah I'm surprised there weren't more crowds

Ado I hope you don't have to work tonight

Work wasn't too busy yesterday despite having someone off, for which I was appreciative.  Started early so that I could leave early

Got to my cousin's house about an hour after things got started. My sister's 2 kids had been exposed to a severe stomach bug that sent their aunt to the ER, so my sister's family decided to stay home rather than risk spreading an infection.  So it was a pretty small crowd at Christmas, was a more relaxed affair.  We'll have to plan a time to get together with my sister's family to exchange gifts

That evening went to church to usher for the 10:30 service.  Most people attend the early 4:00 service so attendance was sparse at this one.  Kinda liked how quiet a service it was, kinda contemplative. Was glad my dad was able to attend  Almost midnight by the time I got home

Turned off the alarm but only slept in less than an hour.  Will go out bird watching then come home and make bacon and waffles, which I rarely do.  Will watch A Charlie Brown Christmas and White Christmas, and possibly On the Town as well

Will be in the upper 30s today rain should hold off

Merry, Happy and all that good stuff!

Had a friend once who referred to all this as "Happy Horror Days", which seems more appropriate for Halloween!

Have to get Nannie up; we are due at SiL's around noon-ish or so. I shut off my alarm clock because I woke up 10 minutes before it was to ring.

Not being a humbug, but I will be glad when it is tomorrow. 😋

I'll be the humbug.  Glad Christmas is over.  Hated it.

Just kidding.  Work was busy and not bad.  Stoped and got G and I some Chinese for dinner and it was all good.

Merry Christmas.

SiL and BiL gave me a gift certificate for a 75 minute Swedish massage!

😳 I've never had a 'real' massage.  Not sure of when I might schedule it; it'll have to be sometime in January, when everybody's schedules become more routine and normal. But I do have to say..... I do not want to become ultra-relaxed and then have to go pick up Nannie to take her home; that would be the WORST way to ruin a good x-mas present. Well, plenty of time for things to be worked out; I'll see wat we can come up with for an actual "night out" for Nannie.

If they were to have her sleep at their house (I'd love it!) that would depend on if/when SiL has to have surgery for her leg and back. The doc had told her that her problem can't be made better unless it involves hardware and fusion. But now she is saying she wonders if she can put it off, as long as she quits lifting heavy boxes at the ABC Store.

So maybe I can schedule ME in, before she has to go through an operation and rehab.

Lettuce pray  🥗🐰🥕 for  Hoppy Gnu🦌Ears!
