Choices: search for RN with ADN or continue a RN to BSN

Published

I am currently in an ADN program, anticipating graduation next spring. I know the job market is difficult for nurses all around, especially for just an associate degree nurse. Should I just immediately head straight for the RN to BSN route upon graduation next spring or pour every ounce of sanity into a job search?

why not do both? enroll part-time in an RN-BSN program, and then on your job apps/resume/cover letter you can mention that, possibly giving you an edge over those who are RNs without BSNs and aren't enrolled to get one.

What state are you in?

I would look for a RN job, apply every and anywhere.

Do you need any other classes for the BSN?

If so start those.

Good luck
