CHOC RN Residency June 2016

Has anyone heard back from CHOC about their application to the residency? I submitted mine in the middle of March and getting anxious!

I interviewed for NICU about a week and a half ago.

I had my interview with NICU this week. I know some of my friends applied and they were not called. They should be making decisions for the residency by the end of the month.

I applied to PICU. HR said that they will still be reviewing until probably the end of next week. But I'm sad but I'm qualified. Other programs I have applied for will at least give you a meet and greet if you are qualified.

No I haven't heard anything.

HR told me last week that the recruiters were keeping the application open longer because they were waiting to get more applicants. Interview invites will be sent out afterwards. I applied back in March for ED and haven't heard anything yet. I'm sure that it varies by department.

They don't need to look anymore. I'm right here and already applied :)

I also spoke with HR today. Said similar things like you said above. Application was reopened because the amount of applicants was low. Which I figured since it wasn't posted anywhere that they added a cohort and the website doesn't even have information about it. But a lot of the units have not done interviews yet. I really hope we all at least get an interview! Good luck everyone!

It totally threw me off guard because I wasn't expecting the next application to open until later in the year. I randomly came across it on a job posting website. I heard that their NICU is trying to expand so they are hiring a lot more than any other unit, which is why they might be interviewing ahead of the other units. Best of luck to everyone!
