CHOC New Grad 2025

Hi everyone starting this chain for CHOC applications. I know they said applications are normally out this week, anyone know the exact day? 

Just received a call right now for the interview. June 10th. Nurse manager mentioned to be prepared for a 4+ hour interview. Interview includes a test and simulation...... 😕

For those who got interviews, what did you apply to? I'm wondering if they are reaching out per department based on what you applied for....

One of the nurse managers called and introduced herself. Just asked which date I would be available to interview. I believe there is June 3rd, June 5th, and June 10th for the interview days. Then she mentioned what the interview would consist of, and to keep look out for an email with more info on exact time and location. I applied for the Surgical.

Ahh the call I got from them, which came from the official number, didn't tell me anything about a phone interview.. All they asked was if I was available to go to the all day interview and that I'll just be getting an email for further details about that day like where and what time to meet, etc. Did anyone else have it as direct as that or did everyone schedule a phone interview too? Curious because if everyone scheduled a phone interview I might call back tomorrow to clarify/confirm.

Oh yeah she called me to ask which day I can attend the ALL day interview! She didn't mention any phone interview.

Ohh okay got it! Someone on here commented previously that they had a phone interview so I was curious.

ADN, have not taken NCLEX yet still waiting for ATT. 
 

when I received the email it was to schedule a phone interview which I did using a digital calendar. She called me and we chatted a little first more like a getting to know me, she confirmed if I was available for June 10th, said she would send an email with everything we discussed and so more details at the end of this week. The phone interview was not a traditional phone interview like I have had in the past.

In person interview will be all day, group will split up to rotate through stations. They will have a simulation related to general peds nursing, knowledge assessment (dosage calculation and scenarios), one on one panel interview and at the end will be unit tour with a senior nurse working that department.
