Does anyone know what exactly the multispecialty unit is? Is it just float pool? I didn't work or do my clinicals at CHOC.

It is pretty much a Peds med surg floor

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Does anyone know what the pay actually is?

It's pretty low comparatively. I was looking at the forum for the last nurse residency they had and I think it's around $40 an hour

Does anyone know for the NICU if we need the NRP cert at time of application or by start of the program?

It's rumored to be changing (going up) do to the merger with Radys

I am planning on adding a few letter of recs, more than 3, is this not recommended?

I was wondering the same thing

did anyone see an area to put certifications/license? I have BLS, PALS, NCLEX and put it on my resume but I didn't manually put it in the application. It also had a part that said add website part, did anyone put something there?

Are you also applying without one?

Yes, usually new grad programs don't require it until start date but I'm not sure about this one. However, I still applied 😊

Just applied to PICU! good luck everyone

I didn't see a place to add my letters of rec or cover letter, I am not sure if I missed something. I ended up uploading my cover letter with my resume. Is that what everyone else did?
